With over two decades of dedicated service in the development sector in Ethiopia, Sosena Lemma has emerged as a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience. As a leader in capacity development for civil society organizations, Sosena's journey has been marked by significant contributions to various disciplines such as organizational development, leadership, governance, program design and implementation, gender and safeguarding.
Sosena's commitment to driving positive change extends beyond Ethiopia. As an accredited trainer by Raising Voices, she played a pivotal role in implementing and adapting the SASA! community mobilization approach in multiple countries, including Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Bangladesh. Her versatility shines through as she seamlessly transitioned to the role of Safeguarding Lead in CSSP2 and Regional Associate for the FCDO-funded Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH). Offering training and capacity development support to a diverse range of CSOs, she focused on program management, gender, social inclusion, and safeguarding. She is a confident and skilled facilitator. Currently, she is working in CSSP2 as an Engagement and Influence Lead/Deputy Team Leader.
