Pierrot has a decade of experience managing development programmes across multiple contexts and for various funders. As Senior Programme Manager, Pierrot has extensively worked across programmes, specialising in large and complex programmes with extensive national operations. Pierrot has most recently managed the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub portfolio of programmes.
He has a specific interest in how to integrate locally-led development initiatives into programme delivery in an effective and transformative manner. Pierrot has also supported SDDirect on several initiatives outside programme delivery including a disability inclusion review, re-starting the Environmental Committee and providing capacity building and support to colleagues on workplace digital skills.
Previously Pierrot worked at Health Poverty Action managing a £15m portfolio of grants across Africa for DFID/UNICEF/EU/Comic Relief focusing on Health System Strengthening and Maternal and Child Health, providing capacity building for teams across Africa on compliance.
Pierrot has experience in developing and rolling out policy and process improvements across programme finances, risk management, operations, procurement, logistics and compliance. He has experience of programme delivery across Africa, Asia and MENA.
Pierrot has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations and a Masters of Arts in International Development, both from the University of Warwick. He is an avid cook and enjoys live music, walking and travel.
