Onyeka joined Social Development Direct in November 2023 as a Technical Analyst with a focus on Governance & Inclusive Societies and Gender-Based Violence portfolios.
She has over 3 years’ international development experience working in technical support, programme management, data analysis, governance, gender, and global health across several organisations. She has also played a pivotal role in the design, management, and implementation of several research-centered projects aimed at preventing gender-based violence against/among Nigerian women. Most of the social development and health-centered projects and programmes she has worked on are for clients such as the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Ford Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
Onyeka holds a Masters in Global Health and Development from University College London (UCL) and a BSc in Microbiology (First Class Hons.) from Afe Babalola University Nigeria. In her spare time, she loves to read fiction, watch Korean dramas and listen to true crime podcasts.
