Jacob joined the SDD programmes team in 2022 as a programmes officer, supporting the management and delivery of a number of projects across the SDDirect portfolios.
In 2022, Jacob graduated from the University of Manchester with an MSc in International Development. His studies centred around climate justice and the political analysis of development policy, with a particular focus on how to improve environmental outcomes within the Brazilian Amazon through the inclusion of marginalised indigenous communities.
Prior to returning to studies, Jacob gained experience and qualifications as a project manager, working on large infrastructure transformation projects within the IT sector.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys playing football, cooking, playing guitar and generally being out and about in the sunshine, although living in Manchester certainly limits the latter!
