The ‘Southeast Asia GBV Prevention Platform’ is a multi-year investment by the Australian Government that aims to strengthen locally led efforts to prevent GBV through evidence-based advocacy, dialogue, policy and programming in Southeast Asia.
The Platform aims to improve regional capacity and coordination on primary prevention by establishing a regionally-led and staffed Secretariat. The Secretariat will be supported by an Incubator (led by Cowater International) whose main role is to facilitate organisational development of the Platform, a Technical Partner (led by SDDirect) who will build capacity in GBV primary prevention, and a Communications Partner (led by The Equality Institute).
It will bring together diverse stakeholders across the region to collaborate, share and work together to build capacity, evidence and action to prevent GBV in all its forms.
